In 2014, Cerela Guiriba took her life after numerous bulling episodes and the inability to turn to anyone for help.

In 2021, 7 years later we are creating a Foundation in her name, umbrellaed under The Human Collective, and working with existing anti-bullying and suicide prevention campaigns to hopefully save someone's life.

The HC supports When The Music Stops, a nonprofit and community that supports emotional and mental health through music, connection, and love.

October 2022, the HC will create a marathon in Cerela's honor in her home town of San Diego. After her passing her father found an outlet in marathon running, participating in couples marathons throughout San Diego. We hope to pay tribute to her and her family by gathering marathoners throughout the city to run for suicide prevention.
